I had some trouble finding the ingredients I needed so I improvised a little, and I have a feeling my ingredients are possibly not quite the right ones. The final product looks good but it seems not to be setting. In all the tutorials everyone’s glass had hardened to a solid, breakable sheet/plate/bottle within an hour. Mine’s still a sticky goo 3 hours on… That can’t be good.
Improvising is fine for cooking and bread-baking, but is probably not wise for candy-making unless you’re quite experienced.
